Founded Rupestrian CyberServices in 1997 to provide technical services to rock art site managers and others. Services include consultation with particular expertise in archiving research materials using digital scanners, database creation, and production of multimedia projects for education or management. Currently assessing condition of rock images within Canyon de Chelly National Monument as part of a multi-year project. Recently created a map and a GIS database with linked images of rock art sites at Hueco Tanks State Historical Park for the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife. Produced an interactive CD for Deer Valley Rock Art Center, Phoenix and for the Kaibab National Forest's Keyhole Sink rock art site, and ArcView database with photographic links for the DuBois, WY museum. Currently providing image enhancement and database assistance to Jean Clottes, prehistorian in charge of the Chauvet Cave project in France

Volunteer rock art recorder with BLM in Paria Wilderness, (2000). Team leader with the Arizona Archaeological Society Field Schools at Anderson Pass (1999 & 98), Dead Man Wash (1997), and Red Tank Draw (1996). Rock Art Foundation field school and site survey work, Pecos River area, Texas, 1997

Volunteer multimedia CD project completed in 1995 for the Archaeological Conservancy to assist them in mapping and managing their Rocky Hill rock art site in Tulare County, California.

Volunteer protection and recording projects for Santa Clara County, California at Chitactac-Adams Cultural Historic Park, Member Citizens Advisory Committee for Chitactac Adams from 1990-1995, working closely with Ohlone Tribal members and park planners. Member Citizens Advisory Committee for Henry W. Coe State Park from 1985-1995, and a Senior State Park Volunteer with the Pine Ridge Association helping with the archaeological resource inventory at the second largest state park in California (over 67,000 acres).

Twenty years experience recording rock art images worldwide on 35-mm slide film. Concern with image-degradation in private research materials led to developments of image enhancement techniques that are now standardized in the field. Concern for site conservation led to multimedia services that combine GPS, GIS, audio, video, digital images, 360-degree panoramas, and CD-ROM.

Actively concerned and involved with rock art site protection.

Thirty-six years programming and evaluating computers (from IBM mainframes through UNIX workstations to Macintosh personal computers). Experience with flatbed, slide, and drum scanners, color plotters, digital archive and mapping systems, database management, desktop publishing, QuickTime Virtual Reality Panorama and CD-ROM technology.

Employed twenty-six years with the US Geological Survey as a Digital Mapping Consultant and Computer Specialist. Published widely. Joint rock art publication bibliography with Robert Mark attached.
